TargetProcess Drives Agile Development
Eckberg Enterprises, Inc. has recently adopted and migrated to TargetProcess as our Agile Project Managent Solution. TargetProcess supports custom workflows per project allowing us to better manage small, quick projects using a simpler Kanban process as well as extensive, long-term projects using a full Scrum process. By utilizing Scrum processes, creating Release and Iteration schedules, we are better able to keep our Clients informed every step of the way. Through frequent release schedules, Clients are able to see real progress through demo releases as well as live releases. We selected TargetProcess after an evaluation of a number of different packages and made our selection primarily on the flexibility TargetProcess offers. All of our clients have been benefiting for some time our consistent use of User Stories for defining requirements. With TargetProcess, our small project Clients enjoy being able to visualize development workflow using the Kanban Board and are quickly notified when bottlenecks occur that require their involvement. Large project Clients can see exactly what will be implemented in the next release and how much progress is being made during each iteration towards the completion of the next release. By involving Clients deeply in the selection and prioritization of user stories, features, bug fixes, and request for each release, mutually agreed upon expectations are developed, minimizing surprises for both parties at release time. |
